2023

Opticon is Optimizely’s annual user conference, spanning three cities and seeing over 5000 visitors a year.

In 2023 I co-led the execution of the event in partnership with the rest of our design team. All design work for this event was done entirely in-house.

The theme for Opticon 23 was “Where art and science intersect.”

While uncertain times can be intimidating, they also present a unique opportunity to step up and stand out. We recognize the need to create, to innovate, to seize the moment for something more. But when limited pipeline and hesitant buyers toss us into a loop of missed opportunities, how can we break free and move forward?

Optimizely’s remedy for inertia calls for two parts: art and science. Because you need the combined power of data-driven precision and the capacity for creative execution to make great things happen fast.

Opticon brings together different walks of those two worlds—the product innovators, the creators, the data scientists, and the various marketers in between—who are all united by the desire to create impactful digital experiences.
